Newsletters for Chiropractic Marketing

For far too long chiropractors have been wasting money on poorly written newsletters.  On paper it looked like a good idea, but in practice it just doesn’t work.  Patients do not want to read a 4 page newsletter written by some other company about the benefits of chiropractic care.

The purpose of doing a newsletter is to inspire current patients, and to potentially create referrals for the office.  I believe that it is possible to do this, but not with a canned poorly written piece.  Personalization is the key to making this work.

I generally don’t promote newsletters, but recently I spoke to Dr. Kennedy at http://blacksheepdc.com.  He has a great system for newsletters at a very good price.  I’ve been sending people his way for newsletters, and I get nothing for it.  He’s a great guy, and figured out a way to make newsletters work for his practice.

Your patients do not need a four page paper from you on health tips.  What they would rather receive is a few paragraphs that come from your heart.  Something that shows them that you are passionate about your work, and that you care about them.  This can be done with a cheap auto responder account and a few minutes of your time.

There are some great services out there today that allow you to mass email your patients.  Services such as; Awebber, Mail Chimp, and Infusionsoft offer options that will serve your needs.  All you have to do is spend a few minutes typing out a message to send to your patients each month.  I promise that this small effort will go a long way with your patients.
