Clickfunnels for Chiropractic

clickfunnels and facebook ads

Last Updated: May 6, 2019

If you haven't heard of Clickfunnels yet you've been hiding under a rock.  As the owner of Inception Websites not a day goes by where I don't have a conversation about it.  I decided to write this article to explain what Clickfunnels is and what it is not.

Where did Clickfunnels Come From?

The creator of Clickfunnels is a marketing guru named Russel Brunson.  Mr. Brunson took a very simple thing that has existed on the internet for many years and turned it into a hype beyond anything I've seen in my years of chiropractic marketing.  The product was designed for any business owner, but chiropractors bit into it like ravenous dogs.

Why are Chiropractors so Excited About Clickfunnels?

Chiropractic marketing is tough.  Having generated over 100 new patients per month in my own practice I can attest to how difficult it is.  That being said, chiropractors will buy anything that is supposed to generate new patients for them.

Mr. Brunson took a basic drag and drop website builder program and marketed it as a "FUNNEL" that would drive unlimited patrons into your business.  All you had to do was signup for Clickfunnels and he would show you how to funnel the clients in.

What Does Clickfunnels Actually Do?

As I said in my last paragraph Clickfunnels is a drag and drop website builder.  It allows someone that doesn't know how to build a website to more easily create a basic one.  It is also designed help make websites or landing pages that are more focused on a call to action.

The reality is that Clickfunnels does nothing more than help you make a website.  Yes a landing page is a website.  They are the same thing.  The landing page is just smaller version with more emphasis on a call to action.  In my opinion every good website should be designed with a clear call to action.  Click the link below for some examples of how we do this at Inception.

Doesn't Clickfunnels Help You Build a List of Clients?

Again, Clickfunnels is just a landing page or a small website.  It does have drag and drop opt in forms, but you have to go outside of the program and purchase Infusionsoft, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, etc... if you want to gather leads.  You also have to figure out how to use those programs and get them connected to Clickfunnels.  There's a lot of work to do that is beyond the abilities of most chiropractors.

In order to build a list you would have to sign up for Clickfunnels.  Then you would have to create an auto responder sequence with one of the companies listed.  Finally, you would have to bring traffic to the funnel page.  That means you'll have to do Facebook paid advertising to drive traffic.

Would You Buy This?

Let's just say that Mr. Brunson advertised Clickfunnels this way:

  1. First you have to pay a decent fee to sign up for Clickfunnels.
  2. Then you have to figure out how to use it which will take hours.
  3. Then you have to pay for an account with Constant Contact and figure out how to create an auto responder sequence in it.
  4. Then you have to spend an additional thousand dollars on Facebook ads to drive traffic to all of this.
  5. You also have to figure out how to create and successfully run Facebook ads.

Would you still be excited to sign up?  I bet you wouldn't, but that's why Russel is brilliant.  He figured out how to make something people have sold for years look like the answer to all problems.  The literal pot of gold at end of the rainbow.

I would guess that well over 1000 chiropractors have joined Clickfunnels.  95% of them wasted have wasted their money.  It's not that Clickfunnels us's just that it's not what chiropractors thought they were buying.

Interested in Facebook Paid Advertising?

Paid Facebook advertising is the rage in chiropractic.  Instead of trying to figure out all the steps I listed above most chiropractors are hiring an outside Facebook Advertising Agency to help them.  Most of these so called expert agencies are charging $750 to $2500 per month just to manage your account.  You then have to pay for the cost of ads on top of that.

Here at Inception, we manage Facebook Advertising for $597 per month.  Clients also need to spend $600 to $900 on ads each month for it to work.  In my opinion, we do the best work on this type of advertising that I've seen and our cost is drastically lower than other companies are charging today.

I hope this has been helpful.  Feel free to give me a call if you have an interest in doing Facebook advertising.
